Important Bird Areas Nomination by A ROCHA/SPNL:

The Identification and Conservation of New Important Bird Areas in Lebanon Project was a three-year study (2005-2007) funded by the MAVA Foundation and carried out jointly by A Rocha Lebanon and the
Society for the Protection of Nature in Lebanon (SPNL), the latter being the Lebanese partner organisation for BirdLife International (see A Rocha Conservation Science Review 2005-2007 p14-p15)
