Due to the absence of corresponding municipalities, Al iibré and Chouwan villages in JMBR suffer from the lack of financial means to initiate an adequate waste collection system. The villagers are deprived of the basic sanitation needs: no garbage bins near the houses nor in the villages, no proper communal collection point, no collection of waste.
In response to the above needs, APJM is suggesting a community-based waste collection system, which starts at individual and household level, so as to alleviate the waste problem at village level.
