How it all started
The line of Jabal Moussa products was launched after the successful implementation of SIFOHR project in 2011-2012, aiming at leveraging the local skills and creating income generating opportunities. But the results exceeded the expectations. With support from the sisters running the Immaculate Conception school in Ghbaleh, a central kitchen was established within the school premises, and offered the local women a space that allows their skills and creativity to bloom. In the 12 months following the project, products were sold out and reordered thrice. In 2016, a need to expand the products line and improve the premises emerged. In response, APJM established an improved, larger kitchen with the support of Drosos Foundation, and several new product lines were introduced as part of the CODEP project.
